Essay by a primary school teacher on the topic “my pedagogical philosophy.” Essay I am a teacher

I never knew who I would become in the future. I wanted everything at once - money, prestige, and something that would definitely be interesting. However, quite recently it became clear that my dream is to become a teacher of Russian language and literature. If I were explaining my choice to my parents, I would start with the fact that this is a noble profession, it is useful for society. However, now I’ll start with something else - with the problem. Half of the teachers today are people left over from the times of the USSR, with a somewhat outdated approach to education. Of course, they are experienced and wise. However, they do not hear us, the children of the new generation. We have a different worldview, we like different music and literature. And we argue, trying to defend our right to individuality - but to no avail. Hence the reluctance to learn. The second half are young teachers who have not yet decided on their methods. They try to follow the techniques they learned in universities. We are not taught to study, think, reason, but they diligently stuff formulas and rules into our heads. We just need education. We need to talk to us, help, guide us on the right path. And be sure to see individuality in everyone. This is exactly what I would like to realize when I get to school.

The second reason is the massive degradation of youth. Some of my classmates are sure that Peter I and Pushkin were contemporaries, and Tokyo is located in China. And teachers are also to blame for this - at least partially. Children don't like to study, they don't see the point in it. Why doesn't the teacher convince them? After all, a teacher for any, even the most disobedient student, is an authority and an example, at least at the initial stage.

In Russian language and literature lessons, the teacher instills patriotism in young people. After all, who, if not a linguist, should tell about the power of our language and the limitless influence of literature? Teachers are able to turn the eyes of future adults to the most pressing problems of society - after all, it is up to us to solve them. And this - educating young people, creating the future of the country - is the third and most important reason for my choice. Winston Churchill said: “School teachers have power that prime ministers can only dream of.” It is these people who lay the foundation of the future. I would like to see this future among people who are humane, tolerant, noble, strong and smart. And it is within the power of any teacher to realize these, without a doubt, common dreams.

I will end with the words of the German educator Adolf Disterweg: “The task of the educator and teacher remains to introduce every child to universal human development and make him a person before he has mastered civil relations.” Teachers did not create this society, but they can change it for the better. And if I can help with this even a little, I choose the profession of a teacher.

"I'am a teacher".

“To achieve a dream come true is the greatest meaning of a person’s life...”

A.S. Yakovlev.

We all come from childhood! And each of us has our own cherished dream. And my dream is to become a teacher! But my path to this dream was long and difficult.

As a child, I played school, was a teacher, gave grades, albeit on postcards, which at that time came with congratulations.I tried to make my dream come true all my school years.

School is a huge life! Studying was easy for me, but I learned the humanities better, read a lot, and quickly memorized historical dates and events. At school, together with her classmates, she prepared all kinds of events, holidays, was a counselor, patronized younger students,I helped them do their homework, played different games, and went to the movies with them. It was interesting for me to communicate with the kids, and they are so interesting and funny, and it was so exciting! I didn’t have any questions: where should I go to study, what will I become? I already knew the answers to them. When I, like many children, was asked the question: “What will you be when you grow up?”, I answered: “A teacher!”

I came home from school later than my parents, I didn’t want to leave! And she walked home cheerful and happy! And I couldn’t imagine another life without school, without cheerful chaos, without the bustle of recess. Oh, what happiness it was! I dreamed that I would graduate from school and become a teacher.

But what kind of teacher - primary school, Russian and literature? But here my dad helped me in choosing a profession. He constantly, unobtrusively, provided me with interesting articles, history books, and told me a lot about the past from the history of our country and of course the family. He asked me not to forget and cherish family traditions, to take care of family photographs. That’s how I gradually wanted to become a history teacher, and the choice was made.

My father helped me prepare for entering university and took me to courses. But my health let me down, or rather my eyesight, which, due to constant stress, such as reading a lot and preparing for exams, had deteriorated greatly. And the doctors’ diagnosis is that you can’t strain your eyes, you can’t read, etc. decided the outcome in choosing a profession. My mother categorically forbade me to enter the pedagogical institute. I had to enter the Mechanical and Technological College of the Dairy Industry and become a technologist. True, it was my mother's choice.

And there I studied easily. She actively participated and prepared all events, as she was elected chairman of the student trade union committee. And after graduating from the technical school, the teachers asked me to stay and continue working at the technical school. But then my parents got sick, and I had to return home. She got a job in her specialty, then got married, gave birth to children and began raising them. And the dream remained a cherished dream!

Many knew about my dream, and I didn’t hide it. Many years later. And suddenly, among my friends, I find out that a history teacher is going to retire from school and the problem is - where to find a teacher? Since we live thirty kilometers from the city, getting there is problematic. And who will go to live and work in the farmstead? So my friends suggested that I go to the director and propose my candidacy. “You dreamed of becoming a history teacher!” The family made a decision, my husband supported me, told me to make my dream come true, and he would help. True, later, when I saw with my own eyes what kind of work it is for a teacher, preparing for lessons - all night long. He regretted it and said that if he had known what it was, he would never have given his consent to me entering the institute. The director gave the go-ahead, and at the age of 32 I entered the university, the history department. What happiness it was! It was easy and interesting to study. I absorbed all the information like a sponge, ran to lectures with interest, and what’s interesting is that I forgot my age, I’m 18 and nothing more! A year later, the teacher retired, and I was invited to teach at school. But what is this - fate! I am offered class leadership in the 11th grade, where students born in 1987. This is the year I graduated from school and the realization of my dream, which, alas, came true not then, but now!

Of course, it was very difficult to start my career: combining work, distance learning, home, family, and raising children. There was a lot of things, all kinds of adversity. But what is all this compared to what awaits you at school? This smell is the smell of childhood, I just can’t get enough of it, even though I’ve been working at school for 13 years. These cute, funny, inquisitive, sparkling children's eyes of the students. It gives me pleasure to communicate with them, the opportunity to help solve their children's problems, to see and hear a variety of questions, and to look for answers together with them. The opportunity to see the results of your work. Their joy, their pain, their mistakes, my mistakes, their successes and my successes. Sometimes for some reason, you have no strength, no health, you feel unwell, you can barely walk. And suddenly you hear: “Hello, Marina Anatolyevna! How are you doing?" And where does the strength come from! You immediately forget about everything in the world, there is a concentration of strength and energy. And the day flies by, as always, unnoticed. It seems like the day has just begun, and it’s already the last lesson! I strive there, within these walls, into this friendly team, where everyone is trying to support you and help you. With an excellent administration, led by a director, a professional in his field, who will always come to the rescue and support you in difficult times. And now it seems to me that there is no better place in life on earth and the school in which I work.

I and my colleagues who work with me and try to sow the eternal wisdom and kindness are not indifferent to how our future generation will grow up, which will build the life of our country. Let not everyone become great, brilliant people, but the most important thing is that they grow up to be real citizens: kind, sympathetic, hardworking, ready to help people. Therefore, I try to show by my personal example how these qualities should manifest themselves in a person. After all, you are a teacher not only at school, but also outside the school walls. And you are always in front of children, and many take your example. I try to create the most comfortable conditions for the full development of each child. Help him achieve success in classroom and extracurricular activities that suit his inclinations and interests. Excursions, visits to museums, sports events, participation in competitions, Olympiads, and conducting interesting classroom hours help us with this.

My students, both those who have already left the school walls and gone into adulthood, and those who are still nearby, are winners and prize-winners of Olympiads and intellectual competitions. While participating in clubs and sports sections, they proudly talk about their achievements and bring their certificates and diplomas. And we rejoice at their success together.WITHI try to be a professional and an individual, and not just occupy a workplace, but also decorate this place, which is the meaning of my work and life. And in order to be a professional in my field, and generally an interesting person, I strive to know my subject well, improve my teaching skills, study the psychological characteristics of students, take courses, read psychological literature. I pay attention to improving professional culture, my self-education, while fulfilling my immediate responsibilities: educational, developmental, educational. As a person, I try to be interesting, respected, principled, active, creative, patient.

Every day brings something new, and in order to be a modern teacher for children, you have to study even more, master new methods and technologies. And I would like to quote the statement of Omar Khayyam:“For many years I have been pondering earthly life, There is nothing incomprehensible to me under the moon, I know that I know nothing! “Here is the last truth, discovered by me.”Therefore, the more I learn, the more I want to know. If I don’t know how to do something, I learn, and what I don’t know, I find out, become interested, and strive to find interesting forms of working with children. It is impossible to know everything in your field; you need to continue to study your subject throughout your career.

I believe that a teacher is the most important and necessary profession. There are no random people in our profession, only those who remain in the profession who love and value children and devote their lives to them. I have a good interesting job, I'm happy! During this time, I have never regretted my choice. Every day of work is a holiday for the soul. I bring my knowledge to children, and this is my purpose. My family supports me in my professional journey. All my family and friends believe that this is a profession from which I receive spiritual development and positive emotions.Great happiness is to be useful and enjoy your work.

Today I can proudly say: “I am a teacher!” This is my calling, my life path. And I would like to end with the words of great people:“In nature, everything is wisely thought out and arranged, everyone should mind their own business, and in this wisdom lies the highest justice of life.”

Who to be? Sooner or later, each of us asks ourselves this question. I was the first child in the family, and later I had two sisters. When I went to kindergarten, I liked the profession of a teacher. Growing up, I decided that someday I would work here.

But time flew by. When I went to school, I met my first teacher - Galina Alekseevna Marakulina. This beautiful woman is a primary school teacher. From the very first minute she fascinated me, carried me away to her land of knowledge. Galina Alekseevna is a teacher with a capital T. She has a lot of work experience. She worked at the school for 43 years. A teacher is not a profession for her, but a calling.

Teacher! How difficult it is to carry this title throughout your life. But the profession obliges. Most of us remember the first line, the first call. But the most important thing is the kind look and gentle smile of the first teacher.

Teaching is the noblest and most difficult profession. Society could not exist and develop if the younger generation, replacing the older generation, was forced to start all over again, without the experience that they inherited.

The great Russian writer L.N. Tolstoy saw in the teaching profession, first of all, a humanistic principle, which finds expression in love for children.

“If a teacher has only love for his work,” wrote this master of words, “he will be a good teacher. If a teacher has only love for the student, like a father or mother, he will be better than the teacher who has read all the books, but has no love for either the work or the students. If a teacher combines love for both his work and his students, he is a perfect teacher.”

I think that a teacher needs to work hard on himself in order to confidently enter the classroom and say: “Hello, children, I am your first teacher.” I felt this when “Understudy Day” was held at our school. I taught classes in elementary school, in third grade. I've always liked little children. They are so spontaneous, inquisitive, look you straight in the eyes, listen carefully. They are interested in everything. You can talk to them about anything, they understand a lot. I got so accustomed to the role of a teacher that I didn’t notice that the end of the school day had already arrived. Little children did not want to part with me. “Understudy Day” is exactly the day when you are given the opportunity to feel like a teacher. And I succeeded very well. It was after that day that I firmly decided that I wanted to be a primary school teacher.

Very often the first teacher is called the “second mother”. This “mother” should be strict and kind, demanding and cheerful. I believe that this helps create a warm, welcoming microclimate in the classroom. The first teacher leaves a deep imprint on a child’s soul.

I think that the motto of every teacher should be the words: “Bring light to people, sow goodness, give love.”

A child’s desire to learn largely depends on the teacher, his ability to determine the student’s capabilities and his personal individuality.

I believe that a teacher is, first of all, a mentor. He not only gives children knowledge, but also educates them. Children come to school from different families, including disadvantaged ones. Unfortunately, in our time there are parents who do not study at home with their children, do not prepare them for school, and believe that this is the job of teachers. Children from such families come to school nervous, angry, even pugnacious. These are the kids the teacher should surround with love, attention, care for and instruct them every day, cultivate love and respect for other children, elders, parents, and the entire world around them. You must not waste your time and give your entire soul to your pets. Then they will love their teacher, listen to him in everything, and in the future they will grow up to be educated people. The new generation will have to change our country, make it better, more educated.

In addition to the fact that a teacher educates students, their parents also need him. They trust him with the most precious thing - their children. Parents are interested in studying at school, grades, relationships in the classroom, everything worries them. And how the child’s school life will turn out depends on the first teacher; how parents will relate to teachers and school, whether they will become faithful associates and like-minded people.

You need to keep up with modernity all the time: read a lot, especially pedagogical innovations, watch interesting educational programs with your children, discuss everything new with your students. Whenever possible, organize excursions for children to Kirov and other cities, while expanding their horizons from childhood.

I think that the teaching profession is the most important in the world, because it is what prepares the citizens of our country. The power and prosperity of my Motherland depends on what young people are like. All professions begin in primary school. It pains me to hear from TV screens how famous “stars” boast that they didn’t listen to teachers at school, and now they have become famous. This can't be true! I know from history how many teachers went to the front with their students during the Great Patriotic War, setting an example of heroism. How the children of those years appreciated teachers!

I believe that society will turn its face to the teacher and appreciate his work. I want my wish to come true, for me to enter a pedagogical institute!

I am sure that my calling is to be a teacher.

Essay "My pedagogical philosophy"

Teacher! He's always on the road -
In worries, searches, anxiety -
And there is never peace.
And a hundred questions are on the doorstep,
And you need to give the correct answer.
He judges himself more harshly than everyone else,
He is all earthly, but strives upward.
You can’t count, perhaps, how many destinies
Intertwined with his destiny!

Every person has his own dream in life. Since childhood, I dreamed of becoming a primary school teacher. Most likely, my grandmother played a big role in choosing my profession. She was also a primary school teacher, I often went into her class, sat down and watched how my grandmother-teacher taught a lesson, what they did during breaks. And then we checked her students’ notebooks together. This was the most interesting thing for me!!! My childhood dream came true. I became a primary school teacher. In addition, I returned to the school where my school life began.

The teaching profession is one of the most important, difficult, interesting and creative. And this is exactly what brings me joy and a feeling of fullness of life. I feel like I belong, I can’t even imagine myself in any other role! A primary school teacher is a special profession. A little man comes to school. Often, for the first time, I am separated from my mother, and I have to become a “second mother,” because without complete trust, understanding, love, it is impossible to teach and educate. Primary school - the beginning has begun! A first-grader who knows nothing, after a few months begins to read, write the letters of the alphabet, solve examples and simple problems - this is the beginning of the “beginning”! And I always sincerely rejoice at the first successes, but, of course, I worry about the failures of my students, and I feel a huge responsibility for their training and education. Every day the eyes of my students look at me. They expect something new and interesting from me. And I want to convey to them everything that I know. When going to lessons, I try to find a lot of interesting things, I’m not afraid to experiment, I’m constantly looking to improve teaching methods, I love children, I try to find an approach to each student. To make the lesson exciting, I look for additional material on the Internet, in additional literature. Children really enjoy doing different tasks. And I watch and rejoice as my students sit and “puff” over them. In this way, they develop their thinking and independence. They really like it! And I need it! The future of Russia sits at the desks. And this is the future that I and my children will have to live in. And not only the life of the country, but also my life depends on what my students become. Each student has his own path, his own destiny... But laying a strong foundation of morality in a child’s childhood and school years is the main task of the teacher, my task. Every first of September I see new students or those who have simply matured in just three months, but still new. The first month they look closely, and after a month they begin to communicate as close people who know each other and trust each other. They begin to initiate me into their little joys and grievances. In turn, I communicate with children as if they were family. Whether I praise or scold, I really want them to grow up to be good people. I do not allow falsehood or insincerity in communicating with children. A child's heart is sensitive and generous. If children are given love, they return it. I want my students to be able to be surprised, empathize, make friends and respect each other. Every child is unique and has abilities. A caring, attentive teacher will give each student a chance to prove themselves. The main thing is that children are not afraid to experiment, and for this they must feel that the teacher believes in them and will always support them. I also try to praise each student, then the child will go to school with a smile, and he will also leave school with a smile. A teacher’s smile can do a lot; all he has to do is smile, and the child begins to feel more confident.

I take great pleasure in going hiking, mountain climbing, skiing, and participating in games and competitions with the kids. Let them see in me not only a teacher, but also a faithful friend, let them remember their first teacher, capable of “anything.”

Yes, the teaching profession is not an easy one. But there are no easy professions! Every job has its pros and cons – you can’t do without it. But why do I like my profession? So this is what I need. Your students need it. Every day, every hour, sometimes every minute... You come to class, and right away they start telling you the news and asking you questions. The parents of their students need it, because they entrusted me with their beloved children. They hope that I will help their children learn to learn, acquire knowledge, live in a team and work together. I need it for my colleagues, from whom I often ask for advice, just sharing what’s painful. This is the meaning of my work - my favorite job!

I chose the teaching path myself. I chose it, although I understood that it was not very easy. But I found my way - to be with children. Yes, sometimes these are sleepless nights, and endless worries, and endless student notebooks, as well as plans, notes, reports, teacher councils, conferences... But this is also the greatest opportunity to fill every moment of children’s lives with kindness and love. “In a kind teacher’s heart, which is wide open, there can be a whole universe...”

A dream for life!

The first teacher... For every person, he is like the beginning of a path, like the first imprint on a child’s soul. Let time give you other, more interesting, wise, significant teachers, but the first teacher will forever remain that small distant light that shone for you at the very beginning of your path.

Do you remember what you dreamed of as a child? Did you have a cherished dream? I think all your childhood dreams, first of all, were connected with the future. What did you want to become? An actress or actor, a famous football player or figure skater, a geologist, or maybe an astronaut? For as long as I can remember, I always wanted to be a teacher. Yes, that’s exactly what they said back then: “teacher.” I sat the dolls on the sofa and played school with them. I loved asking my plastic students questions and grading them in homemade notebooks. Playing school was exciting, and the teaching profession seemed wonderful and very interesting. I was looking forward to going to first grade and meeting this same “teacher,” but in the meantime I gathered the children in the yard and played “school.”

Now I know that school is an amazing place. Everything is mixed up here: childhood and youth, romance and real life, science and art, dreams and disappointments, maturity and wisdom. In this house there is joy and tears, meetings and partings quickly dry up. The school lives an anxious life, and in it, like a drop of water, all the processes occurring in society are reflected. Only one thing is constant - the knowledge of new things and the mystery of learning. Teachers, people who came here at the call of their hearts, will never leave this house forever seething with passions. It is inhabited by two central figures: the teacher and the student. One reveals simple truths to children, and the second absorbs all the wisdom of life.School, translated from Latin, means a ladder that has its own steps. This ladder is not built, it is created for the ascent of the personality of each child, and the teacher must help his students climb a step higher.

And then... Years of studying at school, close communication with different teachers expanded my childish, naive idea of the desired profession. I realized that teaching children is not at all easy, that it is incredibly difficult to love children who are so different, often disobedient and incomprehensible. But my desire to be a teacher strengthened, my dream remained.

Teacher... So much warmth, humanity, tenderness and understanding in this word. How much kindness and patience this profession requires. What about a primary school teacher? That first teacher will be remembered for the rest of my life; her wise voice, warm smile, kind eyes. Yes, my goal remained the same. I remember an essay in my senior year on the topic “What I want to become.” I wrote that I want to become a teacher. Classmates twirled their fingers at their temples. I said in response: “But someone has to do it!” Teach children". (At alumni meetings they still call me “village teacher”; I’m not offended, that’s how it is...).

These were the years of obedience, when a bad mark for discipline disheartened the offenders, when a bold word addressed to the teacher was a rarity. Those were the days of our naive purity, and I remember them with tender sadness, especially now, working at school. In those distant days, teachers seemed to us unusual, special people, not like everyone else, simply unearthly.

Having entered the pedagogical institute, I began to directly make my cherished dream come true. Mastering deep knowledge, studying the fundamentals of pedagogy and psychology, learning how to teach a subject at school, getting acquainted with the experience of famous teachers - everything brought me closer to that expected moment when, having crossed the threshold of school in a new capacity, I could say: “My dream has come true! I'am a teacher!" I was looking forward to graduating from college and going to work.

And it happened! I remember with what excitement and trembling joy I prepared for my first lesson. I remember the faces of my very first students. I still think that these were my best children! I studied with them. To be one - you and the children - is probably the goal of every teacher. And it can only be achieved through painstaking work. For a primary school teacher, the main thing is not to let God’s gift fade away in the child’s soul. And only a teacher who is in love with his profession will succeed. If the teacher has a desire to give, then the student will definitely have a desire to receive. When these two desires coincide, a wonderful result is obtained. At first there were many failures and disappointments. My desires and aspirations often did not coincide with the results of my teaching efforts. But I never regretted becoming a teacher.

Lessons... Lessons... Extracurricular activities... And again lessons... It would seem that what special can be invented here? However, they are all different from one another, because they are warmed by the warmth of the heart itself. The teacher studies the children, and they look closely at their mentor. How he is dressed, what mood he is in, whether he is fair - all this worries little schoolchildren.

I would like to give my colleagues a recipe for happiness that I read from the great educator, primary school teacher Shalva Amonashvili: “Take a cup of patience, pour a full heart of love into it. Throw two handfuls of bounty. Sprinkle laughter, humor, joy there too. Sprinkle generously with kindness, add as much faith as possible - and mix it all well. And then spread it on a piece of the life given to you and offer it to everyone you meet along the way! After all, a teacher is a state of mind, a way of life, a worldview.”
