In 2017, the Middle Urals Development Corporation plans to spend 40 million rubles on the development of Bogoslovsky Park. Now this is the leading project of KRSU, which several years ago received billions of dollars in funding from the regional budget, which often caused criticism. Now the corporation does not receive such support and intends to focus on the construction and development of the industrial park.

Let us note that “Bogoslovsky” is located in Krasnoturinsk, where the new head of the KRSU Sergei Kiselev is from. He was appointed to this post a month ago.

Sergey Kiselev noted that the Bogoslovsky industrial park project for KRSU is “like a child.” He is “interesting to everyone, we treat him with reverence.”

According to Sergei Kiselev, at the end of March in Bogoslovsky it is planned to complete the construction of networks, roads, and a boiler room, and in May the construction of the first business incubator will begin - a building with an area of ​​1.5 thousand square meters, which is planned to be completed at the end of September. He says that four types of production will be able to accommodate there. Future plans include the construction of three more such incubators (previously six were mentioned). “If the project arouses great interest among businesses, then it will be possible to place new sites,” the head of KRSU clarified.

Deputy Minister of Construction and Infrastructure Development of the Sverdlovsk Region Sergei Kiselev has been appointed the new general director of the Development Corporation of the Middle Urals (KRSU), a VEDOMOSTI Ural correspondent reports.

The Department of Information Policy of the Sverdlovsk Governor officially confirmed to our publication the information about this personnel appointment, and also explained that the corresponding decision was made by the board of directors of the KRSU (it includes representatives of the regional cabinet).

Interestingly, the contract with Kiselev was signed until the end of this year. His term of office will be exactly 349 days.

Sergei Kiselev was dismissed from the post of Deputy Minister by decree of Governor Evgeny Kuyvashev five days ago - on January 13, 2017.

According to Kiselev, the main task that the head of the region set for him was to increase investment interest in the Sverdlovsk region from various Russian and foreign companies. According to the director of the corporation, this requires consolidation of the efforts of development institutions and authorities. The second task is the development of the Bogoslovsky industrial park in Krasnoturinsk. The third direction is the development of KRSU as a center of competence in the industrial real estate market of the Sverdlovsk region.

“The Middle Urals Development Corporation has already done some good work, held many meetings and negotiations, and achieved certain results. My task now is to turn quantity into quality and systematize the activities of KRSU,” noted Sergei Kiselev, who began working in the regional government only in March 2016 (before that he was the first vice-president of the Bogoslovskaya Construction Company).

Previously (after Sergei Bidonko left for the State Duma of the Russian Federation), Kiselev was seriously called the main candidate for the post of head of the Sverdlovsk Ministry of Construction, but this post was eventually taken by Mikhail Volkov, a native of UMMC.

Let us note that the previous head of KRSU, Dmitry Popov, left his post at the very end of last year; his contract expired and was not renewed. It is expected that this year Popov will work in the regional government or one of the government agencies. The activities of Dmitry Popov, who spent two years as head of the KRSU, are assessed by experts as positive: they managed to achieve the first noticeable results, for example, a noticeable increase in demand from investors in the Bogoslovsky industrial park in Krasnoturinsk.

OJSC Development Corporation of the Middle Urals was created by the government of the Sverdlovsk region in 2010 to create a favorable investment environment, creating the best conditions for investing in industrial, social, transport and housing and communal infrastructure in the region. The Corporation is implementing the following projects: IEC “Ekaterinburg-EXPO”; Hospital of Restorative Innovative Technologies (Nizhny Tagil); creation and implementation of industrial park projects.

In mid-October 2014, information appeared in the Ural media that KRSU would be liquidated after a series of scandals. Over the years of its existence, the organization has often found itself at the center of various stories with an ambiguous reputation, including those associated with numerous criminal cases. In the spring of 2014, Sergei Filippov left the post of head of the corporation amid a scandal. The then Sverdlovsk Prime Minister Denis Pasler said that the KRSU report for 2013 “raised many questions.” However, in the end, the Sverdlovsk authorities decided to abandon the complete liquidation of the KRSU.
